Syria protests: More demonstrators reported killed
Another eight protesters have been reportedly shot dead in the Syrian city of Homs as demonstrations against the government continue.
In an effort to appease protesters, the authorities have lifted a 50-year-old national emergency law, but large groups are still gathering in cities across the country.
Several hundred people are reported to be rallying on the streets of the capital Damascas, while thousands continue to occupy Clock Square in Homs.
Daniel Griffiths reports.
