Confident US fans savour World Cup party in Salvador
As the US has progressed in the World Cup, more and more American fans have been attracted to follow their team and believe that they can win the competition.
On Tuesday they face Belgium for a place in the quarter-finals, and the supporters are not daunted by the prospect of taking on their well-fancied opposition.
The BBC spoke to many of those who have made the long trip to the coastal city of Salvador in northern Brazil.
