Guatemalans 'burns the devil' in Christmas celebration
Communities in Guatemala came out in droves on Wednesday to begin their Christmas holiday season by setting devil figures on fire.
The traditional festival is said to help chase away bad spirits from homes and neighbourhoods.
But in the town of La Concepcion, concerns about air pollution led authorities to urge residents to burn only natural materials.
