Cholera reaches Haitian capital
Officials in Haiti say the first cases of cholera have been detected in the capital, Port-au-Prince, accroding to news agency Reuters.
Some 200 people have already died in an epidemic in central Haiti, and there are fears it will spread to camps housing 1.3 million survivors of the January earthquake.
Speaking to the BBC, Aisha Bain from the International Rescue Committee confirmed the cases, saying there is great concern the disease reached the capital.
