Ukraine: Clashes in Kiev square overnight

The Ukrainian president has blamed opposition leaders for the latest violence in Kiev.

In a statement Viktor Yanukovych has urged them to distance themselves from what he calls radical forces.

His comments come after another night of violence that has left at least 18 dead after riot police clashed with protesters in Independence Square.

Mariko Oi reports.
