Ukraine protests show no sign of ending

US Secretary of State John Kerry has sharply criticised Ukraine over its handling of anti-government protests.

It comes after allegations that a senior opposition leader was abducted and tortured.

The demonstrations in Ukraine over the country's ties with the European Union and Russia began last November but turned violent last month.
