Protests mar Greece's 'good news day'

Thousands of demonstrators have taken to the streets in Greece's northern city of Thessaloniki over the country's tough austerity measures.

The protests followed a visit by Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras to the city, during which he claimed Greece was "now an island of stability".
