Head of Bolshoi Theatre sacked after series of scandals

The head of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow has been sacked following a series of scandals.

During Anatoly Iskanov's time at the company, he had a public row with one of its biggest stars and its artistic director was seriously injured in an acid attack.

Another Bolshoi star has been charged with ordering that attack and is still awaiting trial.
