Flood rescuers go door to door by boat in Passau, Germany
Eight people have died following severe flooding in parts of central Europe.
In the Bavarian town of Passau, floodwaters have now reached a level not seen since the 16th Century, making much of the town inaccessible.
The BBC's Stephen Evans has been talking to some of the rescue workers there.
