Help for Heroes' charity Paris-London bike ride

More than 300 cyclists are preparing to take on a six day bike-ride from Paris to London, to raise money for the military charity, Help for Heroes.

Thirty injured service personnel and veterans from the UK, US and Canada are among those taking part in the 350 mile journey.

The event takes place less than a week after the brutal murder of Drummer Lee Rigby in south-east London and three days after the stabbing of a soldier in Paris.

Maddy Savage reports.
