Former Italian PM Guilio Andreotti dies

Guilio Andreotti, one of the most prominent figures in post-war Italian politics, has died at the age of 94 at his home in Rome.

During a political career spanning six decades he served as Christian Democrat prime minister seven times, but he was dogged in later years by allegations of corruption and Mafia links.

Alan Johnston reports from Rome.
