Protests in Paris mark Francois Hollande's first anniversary

Protests are being held in Paris to mark the end of President Francois Hollande's first year in office.

Some critics have accused the Socialist leader of turning his back on the left while others have denounced his backing of gay marriage.

His supporters insist he has introduced key legislation and labour reforms.
