Turkey quake toll reaches 13

At least 13 people are now known to have died after an earthquake in eastern Turkey on Wednesday.

Rescue teams are searching for dozens of people trapped in rubble following the quake, which struck the city of Van with a magnitude of 5.7.

Twenty five buildings have collapsed, including a six-storey hotel, where journalists and aid workers were staying, officials said.
