Australia Blue Mountains fire threat 'averted'

Fires are still burning out of control in Australia but officials say the immediate threat to the Blue Mountains west of Sydney 'has been averted' for the moment, but warn that the crisis is far from over.

In total, 73 fires are burning across the state of New South Wales, 29 of which are uncontained.
