Putin's hopes for China summit

Russia's Vladimir Putin is to pursue closer ties and a possible energy deal during a two-day visit to China.

Both countries are looking to each other for support, in the face of criticism from the West and territorial disputes.

But China could use Russia's troubles in Europe to drive a tougher bargain.

John Sudworth reports.
