Trials begin against China activists

In China, the trials have begun in the case of several activists who have campaigned against corruption and called for officials to publish their assets.

Human rights groups say the crackdown on the activists is part of a wider campaign against civil society by the government, despite President Xi Jinping's public campaign against corruption in the country.

Martin Patience reports from Beijing.
