Thai military announce national curfew following coup

A national curfew is in place in Thailand following a military coup.

Soldiers detained party leaders and took control of the country after two days of inconclusive talks between rival political factions.

TV broadcasting has been suspended and political gatherings are banned.

Jonathan Head reports from Bangkok.
