Aung San Suu Kyi pays tribute to Win Tin

Aung San Suu Kyi has paid tribute to Myanmar pro-democracy movement veteran Win Tin, who has died at the age of 85.

A founder of the National League for Democracy, Win Tin was seen as highly influential in the push for reform in the South East Asian nation, formerly called Burma.

Speaking to the BBC's Jonah Fisher, Ms Suu Kyi described it as "a great loss, but not a loss. His thoughts, his words, his example will stay with us."
