Bangladesh government 'scared to enforce regulations'

At least 87 people have been killed and many more are feared trapped after an eight-storey building collapsed on the outskirts of the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka, government officials say.

Sabir Mustafa, head of the BBC's Bengali Service said there were building regulations in Bangladesh but the government was "almost scared" to enforce them.
