Chinese authorities break up child trafficking gangs

The authorities in China say they have broken up two major child-trafficking gangs, freeing almost 200 children.

It is believed that one group of traffickers was buying children in south-western China and selling them in the far east of the country.

A traditional preference for male heirs has created a growing market for baby boys.
