Aerial footage of Japan communities eight months after tsunami

Eight months after the tsunami that wiped out entire communities in Japan on 11 March, rebuilding work is still far from over.

In towns around Sendai, the huge piles of debris left after the disaster have gone.

But where houses and streets used to be, today there are mostly empty spaces.

The reconstruction of these seaside communities is expected to take years.
