South Sudan crisis: President Kiir urges end to violence

South Sudan's President Salva Kiir has renewed his offer of talks to end the fighting which has left tens of thousands of people dead.

His former Vice-President Riek Machar has previously said he is also willing to negotiate but only if his political allies are freed.
