Tunisia politician Mohamed Brahmi shot dead
Tunisian opposition leader Mohamed Brahmi has been assassinated outside his home in the capital, Tunis, in the second high-profile political killing this year.
In February the killing of prominent opposition figure Chokri Belaid triggered mass protests and the resignation of several government ministers.
The shooting dead of Mr Brahmi, the 58-year-old leader of the nationalist Movement Of The People Party, has prompted new protests in Tunis and other cities across the country.
