Sierra Leone army proud of progress 10 years after war
The bloody civil war which ravaged Sierra Leone for 11 years ended 10 years ago this month, with the help of British soldiers and UN peacekeepers.
Since then, retraining and re-equipping the Sierra Leonean army has been a priority, in the hope that improved security against future threats will help the country rebuild and develop.
Mark Doyle reports from Sierra Leone, a decade after he first covered the conflict.
