Fighting erupts in Sudan border region

Violence has flared once again in the capital of Sudan's Blue Nile border state, raising concerns over the continuing lack of humanitarian access there.

Thousands of people have already fled their homes because of ongoing tensions between government soldiers and forces linked to South Sudan's ruling Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM).
