Can you pronounce Germany's longest word?
The longest word in the German language has been dropped from the lexicon.
The word - Rindfleischetikettierungsueberwachungsaufgabenuebertragungsgesetz - is rarely used anymore.
Sebastian Borger, a German journalist based in London, told the Today programme: "Compound words are used all the time, and any student of the German language will like it because it gives you a very precise way of expressing yourself."
