Vladimir Putin and David Cameron 'want Syria talks'
Vladimir Putin and David Cameron have told reporters they want an end to the violence in Syria.
"We have a common interest in putting an immediate end to violence... and launching a peace process", the Russian president told reporters.
The British prime minister, who has been visiting the Black Sea resort of Sochi, said he wanted to see the Syrian regime and opposition "together at the negotiating table".
He added that he wanted the international community to "help shape a transitional government" which Syrians could trust.
