Mexico's 'disappearing problem'

In Mexico the number of casualties in the country's war on drugs is increasing and gun battles and murder have become everyday events.

But one less familiar statistic is the number of people who have vanished - whether kidnapped by the cartels, killed in crossfire or whether they have made the hazardous and often illegal journey north to the United States.

The BBC's Julien Miglierini reports.
