Warning over biker deaths rise in mid and north Wales

Two Welsh chief constables are warning that motorcycle deaths in their area have seen a significant increase this year.

They are blaming excessive speed for the rise in injuries and fatalities in the North Wales and Dyfed-Powys force areas.

The police say they will continue to promote better rider education and training in an effort to reduce the number of riders killed on the roads.

Nick Palit reports.
