Doctor makes trip from Germany to Wales on his tractor

A retired doctor from north Wales has just arrived home after driving his Porsche 1,000 miles (1,600km) from Germany.

It has taken Arthur Niesser three weeks to make the journey from childhood home in southern Germany to his home in Porthmadog, Gwynedd.

But then the Porsche in question is his family's 50-year-old tractor, with an average speed of 10 miles per hour (16 kmph).

Roger Pinney has the story.
