Karolina Golabek: Firms fined after girl's gate death

Two companies have been fined £110,000 for leaving a gate, that crushed a five-year-old girl to death, "desperately unsafe".

Karolina Golabek was playing with kittens when she became trapped between the gate and a pillar near her home in Bridgend in July 2010.

John Glen Installation Services Ltd (Swansea) and Tremorfa Ltd admitted failing to follow safety guidelines.
