Apology over Peter O'Grady's treatment at Singleton Hospital

A health board at the centre of a care failings scandal has apologised to the family of a man who died in hospital.

Peter O'Grady was not properly monitored while he was at Swansea's Singleton Hospital and his condition deteriorated. He later died after being moved to another hospital.

Abertawe Bro Morgannwg Health Board has paid his family £500 and apologised.

Failures in elderly care at two other hospitals the health board runs were highlighted earlier in May.

Mr O'Grady's brother, Terry, told BBC Wales' Cemlyn Davies how he fought for an investigation.
