Police fear 'radicalisation' of Wales' volunteers in Syria

Wales' most senior counter terrorism officer is concerned the Syria conflict is "radicalising" humanitarian volunteers.

Det Supt Rhiannon Kirk said helpers from Wales are "increasingly liable to exploitation or radicalisation".

South Wales Police is appealing to women, mainly in Islamic communities, to seek help if a family member is thinking about travelling to Syria.
