Wales weather: Storms expected to batter southern Wales

Stormy weather is expected to continue to cause problems across Wales with roads closed, and some homes flooded.

At its worst, more than 1,700 properties were without power.

The Met Office has warned of "renewed severe gales" on Wednesday, including gusts of up to 80mph.

Fire crews in many areas have been dealing with trees which have blocked roads and damaged buildings.

Nick Palit reports.
