Heavy rain and high winds lead to travel disruption

Storms caused travel disruption as heavy rain and winds of almost 80mph battered parts of Wales on Monday morning.

Several roads were blocked by fallen trees and water as culverts struggled to cope, while train services were hit by flooding in north and south Wales.

The south Wales valleys was badly affected with swollen rivers and localised flooding on roads.
