Brian Bosley's widow calls for cleaner hospitals
The widow of a cancer patient who contracted C. difficile (C. diff) has called for hospitals to improve cleanliness and hygiene.
Janice Bosley's husband Brian, 66, was being treated at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
His widow Janice spoke to BBC Wales Today's Matthew Richards.
Mrs Bosley spoke on the day assembly members warned that health boards across the country must learn lessons from failings at the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
Dr Peter Higson, the new chairman of the health board, said: "We have already accepted that there have been failings, which we are working to put right."
He said the safety of patients "is what matters most and infection control is a top priority".
