Buy tickets, Wales' Commonwealth Games chief urges

The chief executive of Commonwealth Games Wales has urged people to buy tickets and attend the games in Glasgow next year.

Chris Jenkins said Welsh athletes would be tremendously encouraged by supporters from home in the stands. Tickets for the 2014 Commonwealth Games go on sale at 10:00 BST.

Around one million tickets will be up for grabs. Tickets for all sports start at £15, with half-price tickets for under-16s and over-60s.

Mr Jenkins spoke to Radio Wales' Oliver Hides.
