Alleged patient neglect 'unacceptable' says Tina Donnelly
The director of the Royal College of Nursing in Wales has said the alleged neglect of a hospital patient is "unacceptable".
Tina Donnelly spoke out following allegations that an elderly patient suffered serious neglect at two Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board hospitals.
Welsh Conservative leader Andrew RT Davies wants an inquiry like the Keogh review which has placed 11 English NHS trusts in special measures.
The health board apologised and the Welsh government said no inquiry is needed.
Mai Davies of BBC Radio Wales spoke to Tina Donnelly and to Peter Tyndall, Public Service Ombudsman for Wales.
