April Jones murder: 'Cruel game' of Mark Bridger

The trial of the man accused of abducting and murdering five-year-old April Jones has heard that blood found at his home matched her DNA.

The prosecution set out its case against Mark Bridger including claims that his actions were sexually motivated.

April was last seen on 1 October 2012, near her home in Machynlleth.

Mark Bridger denies the charges.

The prosecution alleged that Mr Bridger was playing a "cruel game" in pretending not to know what had happened to April.

People may find some of the detail in Cemlyn Davies' report distressing.
