Fresh snow affects Caerphilly and south east Wales

The Met Office has upgraded the weather warning for Wales to amber after heavy snow brought disruption to roads and nearly 500 schools early on Tuesday in south east Wales.

Areas affected by fresh snow include Cardiff, Newport, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Abergavenny, Pontypridd, Crickhowell, Aberdare and Chepstow.
