Wales child abuse: Keith Towler welcomes new inquiry
A new police inquiry to investigate fresh allegations into the way North Wales Police handled child abuse accusations in care homes during the 1970s and 80s has been announced by the home secretary.
Meanwhile, First Minister Carwyn Jones met with Keith Towler, the Children's Commissioner for Wales, on Tuesday to discuss the Welsh government's response.
Mr Towler spoke to Radio Wales' Oliver Hides about the meeting and explained how his office had received 38 calls since a child abuse victim had spoken out.
