Expert's 'trauma' fear for children missing from Llanelli

A High Court judge has ordered a nationwide search for a woman from Llanelli who has disappeared with her four children who are at the centre of a dispute with her Spanish husband.

Mr Justice Roderic Wood said Jessica, 14, Tomas, 12, Eva, nine, and David Palacin Jones, eight, were thought to be with their mother, Jennifer Jones.

The judge says he is very concerned for the children.

David Niven, a child protection expert and a former chairman of the British Association of Social Workers, spoke to BBC Radio Wales' Felicity Evans about the lasting effect this could have upon the children involved.

Mr Niven said the children could suffer trauma for many years to come.
