Scottish independence: Dumfries Academy debate

The second of two local BBC debates on the issues surrounding Scottish independence has been held in Dumfries Academy.

Hosted by Willie Johnston, it saw the Yes Scotland campaign represented by Mark Frankland, who founded the First Base Welfare Agency in Dumfries, and Education Secretary Mike Russell.

Speakers for the Better Together camp were Labour MP Russell Brown and Conservative councillor and business owner, Finlay Carson.
