The Scottish government's Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon believes that with six months to go before the Scottish independence referendum "momentum was with the 'Yes' side".

The Scottish government's Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon believes that with six months to go before the Scottish independence referendum "momentum was with the 'Yes' side".

She told BBC Radio Scotland's Good Morning Scotland programme that the opinion polls had narrowed.

However, she added that there was "still work to do".

Voters in Scotland go to the polls on Thursday, 18 September, when they will be asked the "Yes/No" question: "Should Scotland be an independent country?"
