Scottish independence: TV Debate panel tackle poverty question

The latest in a series of around-Scotland TV debates took place in Portree on Skye.

The panel, including Scottish government minister Keith Brown; Labour MSP Jenny Marra; pro-Yes supporting actor and director David Hayman and pro-Union backing businessman John Boyle, answered a number of questions related to the Scottish independence referendum.

Audience member Robbie Dempsey asked: "Would an independent Scotland be better placed to tackle poverty and inequality?"

Here, those in the hot seats give their responses.
