Glasgow's Kelvingrove bandstand open after £2.2m refit
A historic bandstand has been reopened in Glasgow's Kelvingrove Park following a £2.2m refurbishment.
The bandstand, built in 1924, has been the focus of a long-running campaign to restore it after decades of abandonment.
Glasgow's Lord Provost Sadie Docherty had cut the ribbon before local bands and schoolchildren stepped back onto its stage.
BBC Scotland's arts correspondent Pauline McLean reports.
