East Kilbride teachers removed over US religious group
Two head teachers at a South Lanarkshire school have been removed following concerns about the involvement of a US-based religious group.
Parents at Kirktonholme Primary in East Kilbride have labelled the Church of Christ extremist and raised concerns about the work of the church within the school.
South Lanarkshire Council has now redeployed the two women who shared the head teacher post and has launched "a full investigation."
BBC Scotland's education correspondent Jamie McIvor reports from the school.
