Sir Walter Scott's 'conundrum castle' reopened

Author Sir Walter Scott's former home in the Scottish Borders has undergone a £12 million restoration programme and has been officially opened by the Queen.

Abbotsford House is where the author lived and wrote the Waverly novels including his famous work Ivanhoe.
