Tobacco ban for Scots shop displays

The Scottish Government can go ahead with its ban on the open display of cigarettes for sale in shops.

It follows a ruling by the UK Supreme Court on an appeal by one of the largest tobacco manufacturers in the world.

Cigarettes will have to be sold from behind closed cabinet doors from April 2013.

BBC Scotland's home affairs correspondent Reevel Alderson reports.
