On the lookout for a bishop's palace in Ancrum

Archaeologists have started excavating a field in a Borders village.

They believe it was the site of an important mediaeval building.

The bishop's palace near Ancrum is thought to be of huge national significance.

BBC Scotland's Cameron Buttle was there when the digging began.
